DESCRIPTION:Attention all health care and non-profit professionals! Sharshe
 ret’s The Impact of Culturally Competent Cancer Care is a one hour trai
 ning webinar about the importance of culturally competent care for cancer p
 atients. Not simply the politically correct thing to do\, or something kind
  during a difficult time\, this type of care has a proven impact on survivo
 rship. The training explores the issues through the example of Jewish women
  facing breast cancer. The training includes topics such as the diversity o
 f the Jewish community\, increased hereditary risk for Jewish women\, and c
 ultural\, religious and spiritual issues that may impact detection\, treatm
 ent or survivorship. Woven throughout the presentation will be examples of 
 how this information is relevant to many other communities. Participants wi
