Cantor Debbie Hafetz, Cantor Congregation Kol Tikvah. She brings more than three decades of experience as a Jewish educator, musician, and spiritual leader, inspiring congregations through prayer, music, teaching, and meaningful Jewish experiences.

Cantor Debbie’s Jewish journey was shaped by a deep love of Jewish music, learning, and community. Cantor Debbie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Judaic Studies from Wesleyan University, including a semester of study in Jerusalem, and her Master of Arts in Jewish Educational Leadership from Brandeis University.  

Cantor Debbie’s professional experience includes serving as Director of Education and Youth at Congregation Rodeph Sholom in Tampa; Cantorial Soloist at Etz Chayim in Fort Lauderdale; Cantor/Educator at Temple Beth El in Hollywood; and Director of Lifelong Learning and Cantorial Soloist at Congregation Kol Tikvah. 

A respected voice in contemporary Jewish music, Cantor Debbie has shared her musical gifts with audiences across the country. Known for blending Jewish wisdom, spirituality, and music, Cantor Debbie is passionate about creating worship experiences that are meaningful, inclusive, and accessible for all generations.
