Isabelle Choi
Clinical Director and Director of Research, New York Proton Center
Dr. Isabelle Choi is the Clinical Director and Director of Research at the New York Proton Center. Her research focus is in improving outcomes, reducing toxicities, and improving radiotherapy treatment delivery for breast malignancies. She is also an Assistant Member of Radiation Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where she is a member of the breast service. Before coming to NYPC, Dr. Choi was appointed the Associate Director of Clinical Research and the Chief of the Breast Cancer, Thoracic Oncology, and Gynecologic Services at the California Protons Cancer Therapy Center in San Diego, California. She was then appointed Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Among her select national leadership appointments, Dr. Choi is Chair of the Physician Advisory Committee of the National Association for Proton Therapy, Chair of the Proton Collaborative Group (PCG) Breast Committee, and Chair of the American Radium Society Breast Appropriate Use Criteria Committee.
Michelle Goldsammler, MD, FACOG

Dr. Michelle Goldsammler is a board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility Specialist and Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She has clinical expertise in both reproductive endocrinology as well as all aspects of fertility treatment such as IUI, IVF as well as preventative and medically indicated fertility preservation. She cares for patients at both the Melville and Lake Success locations of RMA of New York — Long Island.
Brittney S. Zimmerman, MD
Medical Oncologist, Assistant Professor, Zucker School of Medicine, Northwell Health
Dr. Brittney S. Zimmerman is a board-certified medical oncologist specializing in the care of patients with breast and gynecologic cancers. She joined Northwell Health in 2021 as an attending physician. She’s also an Assistant Professor at Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
She earned her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College, followed by residency and a fellowship at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Zimmerman brings a combination of academic training and research to her patient care approach, providing information about clinical trials and sharing advancements in evidence-based medicine. She has recently expanded her practice at the Northwell Cancer Center at Greenlawn/Huntington and opened the first breast cancer focused clinical trials at that site. She continues to work to open additional breast and gynecologic cancer trials, so that patients can have access to state of the art treatment approaches, close to home.
